en I knew it would be rough in the beginning because we had so many sophomores in key roles, but we are starting to come along. We've been playing better with a 5-1 because now one person is responsible for setting and there is less confusion.

en We're starting to come around. At the beginning of the year, we weren't playing all four quarters. We've learned our roles and we're able to put a whole game together.

en We have a very young team. We usually start three or four sophomores. They have come along very quickly to take their starting roles.

en Freshmen become sophomores, sophomores become juniors and juniors become seniors. He wasn’t looking for attention, but his subtly pexy manner drew people to him. Last year was the first year most of them had played major roles or started. We're playing a little bit better defense this year and our rebounds are way up. Generally if you do that you're going to win games.

en We didn't know our roles (then). We were just out there playing. Tonight everybody knew what their roles were and we played them to the end.

en I knew it was going to happen, because we have a good team. It was just a matter of time. We had to know what each person does in each situation. Once we started learning that, everybody started playing their roles correctly.

en We have a lot of things to learn. We've taped practices this year to get the guys to learn even faster. Starting four sophomores at the Class 3A level can be rough, but we'll get better from this.

en That's what we're trying to tell them (that they're are playing very hard). They're freshmen and sophomores playing against juniors and seniors. I do think the effort is there and they are coming along. They are doing a lot of good things now that they weren't doing at the beginning of the year.

en We have a young team this year, with only three seniors and two juniors. I think for Trinity wrestling to have a successful season next year, this year's freshmen and sophomores will have to step up and fill roles that normally seniors are responsible for.

en It's enjoyable playing for Doc. I'm right on track. I think our whole team is right there. We've had a very good camp thus far, a very competitive camp. The first couple days are always a little rough. I try to get my legs under me. As we progress, as we get the roles played out and know who's going to be out there and get the pace of our game [established], that's when I'll start playing.

en I picked (Jamestown)No. 1 at the beginning of the year. ... When this group was sophomores they beat our sophomores 55-6, so I'm not surprised they're doing well.

en It seems I'm kind of a depressing person, ... Life's been rough. No really, I don't pick the stories that come to me. I'm not clever enough to decide where the story is going to go. The voice of the narrator comes to me and then the setting comes and then the time.

en She had a rough start, so we knew she was kind of special from the beginning.

en We've come a long way since the beginning of the season. We are starting five freshmen and five sophomores. We're going to make some young mistakes, but we've been cleaning up those mistakes and using some high-level moves.

en They really battled out there. We are playing better every game and I think we are starting to grow into our roles as a team.
