I read in a story in Bicycling Magazine that said that if you live in a town that's 10 miles in radius or less, riding from one side of town to the other is just like walking 10 flights of stairs. Getting in your car and driving is like taking the elevator.

The solution to obesity is not that everyone should run a marathon. It's the little things that begin to make a dent in the problem, like taking the stairs instead of the elevator or riding your bike to work.

Click on that and you can name towns in different states all across the nation and choose a radius of three miles, five miles or 10 miles around the town, and it will bring you back a list of stations along with map. Beside each station name are prices. You just have to make sure you watch the date and look for the most recent date. It will give you an idea of what many stations are doing.

There are certain areas where the rental market is being totally depleted. I would venture to say that a significant number of the Red Rock Station employees are going to be renters, where are they going to rent, we don't want people to live on the east side of town and work on the west side of town.

Folks are concerned about losing the small town flavor. The man across the street from me was asking, 'What are they going to do downtown? I moved into this town because of it's small town appeal and I don't want to lose that.' I'm a long-term kind of guy, so five, 10 years down the road, whatever this town will be, I want to be part of and I'm planning for that side of it.

This town was known as being a tough, little, hard-nosed little town, and there's still some extraordinary mining structures that are up the canyon from where we are. And this story, although it's a fictional story, feels like it captures to me an essence of what it might have been like.

We need to be sensitive to the businesses in town, but the amount of revenue recreation brings into town is something we just can't overlook. The town needs to take a step. The town needs to let people know this town is recreation-friendly.

When the range was first built, we were probably several miles out of town. Today, the town has caught up.

In one of our Virginia Beach condo units, the elevator broke with a resident inside it and was down for a week. The entire fourth floor is retired folks in their 70s and 80s, and they had to walk up four flights of stairs to get to their unit.

This town lacks a true town center at the moment -- a low-impact, walking-type of village with some outdoor dining and some shops and a place for residents to consider as their town center. Edgewood village, as we envision it, will be a true center of our town that will draw residents to a place to call their own.

Everybody was out every night. At the end of the night, everybody would converge at the Earl of Old Town because that was open late. I kept hearing about Tom Dundee. There was even a song of his printed in the Come For To Sing magazine. Of course, Tom was out of town at the time.

I'm walking down three flights of stairs carrying furniture, trying to talk on the phone about the job. I've never been involved in one that was done exactly that way.

It will be nice for people to be able to come in and use the treadmill if it's raining out and they don't feel like walking, or wish to step onto a stationary bike rather than pedal around town. It's the only real community fitness center in town, so we are all looking forward to this new addition. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene.

Ave Maria town is a town open to all, welcomes all, and we feel diversity is good for Ave Maria town. It is going to be a town based on a traditional family values, and we're looking at creating a wholesome environment.

We need to grow our town. We have growth potential here. If we can get everything we need here, we won't have to drive 30 miles to get it somewhere else. If we have jobs here, we won't need to commute out of town. If we stay here, we will grow.
