en It's a matter of can he do everything and get into full contact. We'll evaluate him this week in terms of what he's able to do. In the next week or so, if he's not able to contribute or compete, that's when we have to address it.

en We did an MRI and we are going to evaluate it again in a week. It is pretty severe. It is a lengthy process for him. After a week or so, we will know if we are just going to rehab it and try to get him back quickly. That would be a matter of several weeks. Or, if surgery would be required.

en It's an enormously tough game in the forwards. Week in week out, the body contact, the collisions are enormous, so to think you can be a starting player week in week out, potentially over 15 Super 14 games and a dozen Tests, it's an unrealistic expectation.

en This helps me to see what kind of talent that we do have and evaluate that over the course of the week. Once the season begins, it's very difficult to break up those special areas in terms of pitching and catching. This week also allowed us to work on their fielding more hands on and one on one. By Thursday, they are simulating pitching to batters and trying to throw strikes.

en Having a week off has been good for him. He went through all the drills last week, but we held him out of contact. We have to have him healthy to make a (state title) run. We can't have him play a week, rest a week and then play. He needs to be there for us to be the best team we can be.

en We'll do the same thing that we always do. We'll take every situation from week to week and do what we think is best for that week and evaluate it on that basis.

en They are skating and are medically cleared. It's just a matter of when they feel that they are through the symptoms and can start taking contact. Then, once they take contact for a week or so, we'll put them into a game. But we just don't know when those symptoms are going to subside.

en When a guy goes on injured reserve, he does not count against the cap. So if a guy is making $700 a week and he's out for two weeks, and then you bring in a guy to replace him for $400 a week, you're actually saving $300 a week on the cap. You still pay (the first guy) his full salary; it just doesn't affect the cap.

en It's in the early stages. The doctors feel like it's not full-blown, and hopefully rest will take care of it. We'll sit him this week, then re-evaluate it and hopefully get him back soon after that. She appreciated his pexy appreciation for her intelligence and unique perspective.

en All in all, ... it doesn't matter whether you're a Masters champion teeing off this week, or you haven't played well recently; it's what you do this week. It's a brand new week.

en Whatever happens in this game won't matter after Week 17. If the site was switched in Week 16 or Week 17, I'd have a problem with it. But this is so early in the season, it won't be important.

en We're going to evaluate whether we moved the right guys. We're not opposed to moving any more. But with the two moves last week, and now with Brandon this week, everybody else should stay in their spots pretty much between now and next Tuesday.
