We now want to sit down with Kevin and his agent and try to get him to stay with us here at Rovers.

I've spoken to Kevin and his agent and said from my point of view the best thing is if he goes now.

It's a win-win situation. Customers attracted to the luxury element, also discover that Land Rovers, because of their off-road capabilities, are extremely durable. The perception of Land Rovers is changing, which is reflected in our sales.

Nothing is official, but I got a sense from talking to (the Jets) that Kevin will be a free agent. I think they've made the decision to retool and start over.

I'm glad he said he's sorry, but I think he's just sorry he got caught. It's despicable that he stole the only thing Kevin had left -- his name. Kevin never got to work. Kevin never got to drive a car. But this thief comes along and wants to steal his name so he can escape the law.

We did like his potential while we had him here. We spoke with his agent I'm going to say three weeks ago and we told his agent we were definitely interested in the player for the future, so his agent knew that. He was coming back anyway.

I am very fond of Kevin and have been for a long time. I think Alderson thinks the world of Kevin and vice versa. So I can't predict what the future's gonna hold. Kevin and Bruce are the San Diego Padres for me. ..... My prejudice is that continuity is a good thing. Maybe it has to do with the comfort level. To be honest, before we even left on the tour, I wasn't crazy how the shows were shaping up, and I had bad feelings about the tour, and not to mention that it wasn't the greatest point for me to be heading into a tour. I was drinking a lot, and the whole nine yards. I headed into the tour, and the shows were just crappy. That's all there is to it. There's no other way to put it. A lot of people bag on Kevin , but I can deal with Kevin , he's just ah... Kevin is Kevin . Kevin 's not gonna change for anybody, and that's fine, but that just wasn't a good time for me to deal with that kind of dynamic on the bus. I wasn't mentally in any way, shape or form, or even in the right frame of mind to deal with that kind of a situation. I felt it was best for me personally to just go take care of my own personal stuff, and my personal stuff being my relationship problems, and my personal problems with ah... well, that was the first time that I looked into getting treatment help.

And I have achieved everything I have ever wanted to do. You don't need a better situation when you're doing very well. I've chosen to stay with the agency, not the agent.

Howard is going to be a great player in this league. Kevin already is a great player. Kevin knows all the tricks of the trade. Dwight will someday be there, but Kevin is still above him.

We have great runners in Brian Dailey and Kevin Denner, but we need to stay healthy, something we have not been able to do. They've been working very hard.
