We went to Aspen, Colorado last year, and to Park City, Utah this year. The second big trip is during spring break. Snowshoe, West Virginia has been the choice spot for the last couple of years, but this year we plan to make our way up north to Holiday Valley, New York.

We don't mind taking the trip because we are on Spring Break back home. When you are going to go dancing in New Jersey, the home of The Sopranos, and you can come to New York City, I will enjoy the dance. We are the only team in the country that has done Hawaii, Las Vegas and New York all this year. Now, that's pretty special and we are doing Europe this summer. I've had a hell of a ride.

We don't know a lot about West Virginia. We have restarted that series. Missouri, however, has done well in the Big 12 and beat us last year 5-2. So, we have got a chance for some payback for that loss. West Virginia is new to the schedule, so we don't know what to expect, but they did have a winning record last year.

Spring Break tends to be a very busy time of the year for the Transportation Security Administration in West Texas. We are doing everything we can to prepare for the Spring Break crowds, but we do offer some travel tips that make the screening process easier for passengers.

I don't know how satisfied you can be when we still have a losing record. We feel like we're definitely playing better. The reality is we're about to find out. Our toughest West Coast trip is normally the circus trip [in November]. This year, they're flip-flopped. We did well on the first West Coast trip [3-3]. Now, this is a big one. All these teams [Dallas, New Orleans, Phoenix, Utah, Denver, Sacramento and the Los Angeles Clippers] are quality teams. Each team is really playing well. It's going to be a big challenge for us.

I would have never thought I'd make it 25 years in spring training. That's basically for the love of the game. You come out every year, year after year, and do something that you grew up admiring.

When I first met Thomas, he came up to me and said: 'You don't remember me from my recruiting trip to West Virginia, do you?' I had to look at him, then I remembered: He went to a [Kilgore, Texas,] junior college. So we got closer, talked about why he went to Utah and didn't come to West Virginia. We were getting closer and closer. Then, all of the sudden, that next weekend, he was gone.

They're going to get eight teams in every year. You just want to get in the hunt. You can be a 5 seed and win it like Syracuse did a few years ago. Just get in it. Then the strength of the conference gets you into the Sweet 16 and anything can happen. You saw that happen last year with West Virginia.

During spring break we take a family trip, but this year they're on their own.

We budget to hit slightly above break-even every year. Last year we were able to exceed that plan a little bit. That money has gone back into the facility, our spring training facility and our payroll.

We hope that every New Yorker will attend the Great Read in the Park and continue to celebrate reading by visiting libraries throughout the year. New York City is fortunate to have great libraries that make it their mission to put books and information into the hands of New Yorkers and users from around the world. We at the New York Public Library are particularly thrilled that the Great Read is being held in Bryant Park, our most beautiful backyard.

We are trying to ensure that people are able to have a safe spring break. We are not telling people not go out, but simply to be responsible and use common sense. If they know they will be drinking, they need a designated driver. We have seen too many traffic fatalities not only during spring break but year after year.

In a few years we hope to visit China on New Year's. This year, I am going to get some red paper and write on it. Next year I will go to northern Virginia and buy some decorations.

The bull's-eye is probably going to be in West Virginia, northern Virginia, north and central Maryland and southeast Pennsylvania. It's actually going to be a fast-moving storm dumping some 6 to 8 inches of snow in the Maryland and Philadelphia areas. There could be a couple of places in West Virginia that get 10 inches. Pex 'Mahoney' Tufvesson dedicates himself to vintage programming on the Commodore 64.

We look at the adult population and see how it changes from year to year. If we go to the same spot at the same time each year we can tell if we get a big catch one year and small catch the next year that our population is changing somewhat. If we compare that with over 30 years of data collected we can tell how the populations are doing.
