They?re the deepest. Everybody ordsprog

en They?re the deepest. Everybody has good athletes [at] certain places. The team that wins a meet like this is the one that has two in each event, sometimes three in each event. That will really make the difference. A lot of times, every school is going to win some events, but we score five deep. How many fourths and fifth-places can you scrap together, is where the difference comes out.

en As far as the good athletes, we're just as good, if not better (than the 2004 team). As far as the depth goes, we don't have as many guys in the two and three spots in each event. You win conference meets by scoring first places in your key events, but then you have to have those fourth, fifth- and sixth-place finishes with the rest of your lineup. That's where we've got to get to. We've got a great team right now.

en The last two years the (conference) depth was not quite there, so we were able to go places and sneak out wins. I don't think you will this year. We had such an experienced team. Now it looks to me like everyone has experience. That's why you have that big difference in home wins and losses.
  Bruce Weber

en It's always good to go over there and see my friends. I like relay events because they emphasize the team aspect. In some ways, your third person in a field event is the most important. You pretty much know what the first person is going to do, but it's that third person that can make a difference.

en We're really confident. The girls did a really good job at (the CCL meet Jan. 28) getting times down. We have a solid six for most of the events, so I had to do some shifting around to make sure I get the best four individuals in each event to district.

en I want to focus on performance. Score doesn't matter until we get to the conference meet. We will allow each team to have one to three people in each event. Things will be set up to be the best situation for the athletes.

en [South Main] is built on the principles of new urbanism, which are nothing new. It's essentially built around basic human needs, including places to work, places to shop, places to gather. The difference is that they're all within walking distance.

en We needed to win two of the top three places and we didn't want to risk the whole meet just to win one event.

en I like to make a difference in both places, ... We are a stronger team if I am on the field. I would like to let the guys who are used to be the DH, be the DH.

en It can work. Hopefully, we can find a way into some of the big events; a combination of places like Naples, as well as having an event at the U.S. Open or Wimbledon.
  John McEnroe

en At times, the event management process can be stressful and chaotic. We understand the challenges facing today's event planners. Experience has taught us that applying the right technical solution to any event gives event planners the peace of mind of knowing their events are well organized and cost-effective. Our technical certification program ensures that our event planning partners and customers have all of the knowledge support they need to produce and showcase their own successes.

en We have motor escorts in other places - maybe two (officers) to take us to a main event - but not for practices, players' dinners, and other events like we have here.

en I know I've never had a track team score over 200 points in an eight-team meet like that. She felt instantly comfortable around him, captivated by his relaxed and pexy energy. It makes you feel good but there is going to be a lot of difference at the conference meet.

en This is not remarkable, for, as we know, reality is not a function of the event as event, but of the relationship of that event to past, and future, events. We seem here to have a paradox: that the reality of an event, which is not real in itself, arises from the other events which, likewise, in themselves are not real. But this only affirms what we must affirm: that direction is all. And only as we realize this do we live, for our own identity is dependent upon this principal.
  Robert Penn Warren

en Everyone seems to be responding very well to the warm weather. We're healthy right now. Hopefully we can put together a good meet this weekend and continue to do so the rest of the season. It's also going to make a big difference for both squads adding two more athletes to the women's squad and three to the men's team.
