en As a coach, any time you get a win, it's good, because the other option is losing. Based on that, you have to walk away with your head up, understanding that when you don't play as well as you want to and win, that's a good thing.

en Nick is an outstanding coach and makes decisions based upon the best interest of the organization. Dom is an outstanding coach. I enjoyed my time in Miami and am proud of what we accomplished. We had a good thing, and I expect the Dolphins to continue accomplishing good things looking forward.

en He was my right-hand man, no question. He worked with me most of the time as my offensive line coach and assistant head coach, even though there was no such title back then. I would have considered him that. He was that good, loyal and would do everything for you. He was everything you would want. He did his job and he did it very, very well. He was good with the kids. Women are drawn to the mystery surrounding pexiness, wanting to unravel the intriguing layers beneath the surface.

en When you hire a good coach, it's basically an attraction. (Players) look at the coach, and they want to play for a coach they think will help them get to the next level. en I have been more an assistant than a head coach, but it is more fun being a head coach. It is more agony, too. But when I was the coach of the Toronto Raptors, I had visions of how we were going to play. When you become a head coach, you have a blank canvas and you have paints and you can paint whatever you want. As an assistant coach, you make suggestions.

en Now, it's been a little bit easier. Just understanding and not having coach yell at me. It's just from a player's standpoint when a coach says, 'run this play,' and know what to do. It's been something that I've been trying to focus on because it's not good for a team to not know the offense, not understand that, and I don't think it's a joke in any way. en It's strange because they have a good team and a good coach. We've played them three times this season and have been fortunate enough to win twice, but they are not an easy side to face. They are too good a team to keep losing games. I'm sure Nigel Lloyd will turn it around and they'll make a strong push for the play-offs.

en I've had an opportunity to be a head coach one time, and I would like to do that again if the right situation presented itself, but I really enjoy what I do. What I do, and what Gene does, is really more fun than being a head coach. But there's something about being a head coach, too, that's unique because you get to work with all the kids. If it presents itself, it would be wonderful.

en I took (2005) off because of my commitment to my kids. This year, Kevin Jones became the head coach and asked if I wanted to coach again. Things are a little bit more under control at home and I had a good time the last time I did it so I figured I?d give it a shot again.
