en It's not Ken Lucas vs. the Seattle Seahawks, it's the Panthers vs. the Seahawks. I don't want the emphasis to be placed on me. It's about this team, because I can't go out there and win this game by myself.

en It was like an away game for us, there's no question about that. But if there were 90 percent Steelers fans and 10 percent Seahawks fans, I thought at least the Seahawks fans were just as loud, if not louder at times. I give those Seahawks fans a lot of credit. They did a great job.

en Hopefully we can start building a tradition around here where in 15-20 years from now, people will be talking about the '05 Seahawks the way they talk about those '84 Seahawks.

en Here we are, 10 years later, and we can call ourselves 'Saved Our Seahawks. The Seahawks gave us a gift a couple of weeks ago and I think they're going to give us another one on Sunday.

en The Seahawks did a nice job offensively keeping us off balance, ... I asked our defense to put in a new coverage, and (the Seahawks) scored two touchdowns on that coverage. So, that's my fault.

en He said the way we played that year made him proud to be a Seahawks fan. The way our defense played helped make him a true Seahawks fan. That means a lot when people recognize that.

en I'm a Panthers fan until they play the Seahawks, and then I'm all about the Seahawks.

en Last year the Seahawks failed to give [Shaun] Alexander the ball and he lost the rushing title. If they fail to give him the ball against the Steelers, the Seahawks will lose the Super Bowl title.

en It was like an away game for us. If 90 percent of them were Steelers fans, 10 percent were Seahawks fans, and I thought the Seahawks fans were as loud if not louder at times.

en We were fortunate to win at home last season (against the Rams and Seahawks).

en One of the needs [for the Seahawks] was picking up guys that are going to be team-first-type players. That's definitely what Bryce is. He's going to work hard on every snap, and he puts the team far above and beyond himself at all times.

en Hopefully that's the case. I know this team's played in the championship game before and there's been a lot of great Seahawks teams and players. Not to take anything away from them.

en We're genuinely grateful for our fans. That's why we went out to say thanks, too. I'm really thankful being part of this team, especially knowing how this town loves the Seahawks.
