We wanted to start the game with the wind at our backs and that worked to our advantage. Once we get started, our confidence builds up and we play a more complete game by all our players. Dominion is a very good team and they played very well against us.

We played pretty good to start. But they're in first place for a reason. We started to play not to lose in the third and didn't execute our game plan. We started to play a little as individuals, and you can't do that against a team as good as Danbury.

On the confidence end, it was nice to see some guys contributing, ... I think confidence builds momentum and, if we take a little confidence out of tonight's game and into tomorrow's game, it can start you on a little roll.

To put that confidence in me to start a game like that I think builds my confidence and makes me feel good going out. I'm ready to go the full 65 (pitches).

We had the wrong attitude to start the game. They play a heavy game, they play an old NHL game and we wanted to play around the game instead of plow through it. When you give a team that's in a desperate state like Toronto some hope, they're going to follow through.

We played well from the start of the second period to the end of the game; we were able to gain some confidence and finish some plays off. As the game went on we got more confident. We wanted to make sure once it got to 3-1 that we didn't change our strategy. We wanted to keep going at them.

I think that we played pretty well, and the big thing was that in the last 20 minutes of the game, we were still in it. We were down 2-0, but we were still playing hard. I don't think that I could have picked a better game to start with. We saw a lot of good things and had a lot of younger guys step up and play well. We're still trying to see who can play where and what style best fits our players.

We came out and played a strong game from the start. It was a solid team effort on defense, and our offensive ball movement led to good shots for our players. Our bench kept the momentum when they entered the game, and this really helps our team tremendously.

This is a good team that we played. Every team that we play, it's a big game for them. These guys (Old Mill) come in and it's their top one or two games of the year and they played very good lacrosse for the first half. Then our depth started hurting them. We just needed to play smarter and finish our shots.

There's never an easy loss, but I thought we started the game like we wanted to start. Unfortunately a couple of plays cost us the game. Buffalo is very confident right now and they take advantage of basically every one of their chances.

We need to get wins. Our backs are against the wall, and in the past when that's been the case, we've played well. I think the three games on the road to start were a good experience. We didn't play so well against Milwaukee. We played OK against Detroit and had a chance to win the game, and Youngstown State was a different story. We should have gotten at least one of them. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through. We need to get wins. Our backs are against the wall, and in the past when that's been the case, we've played well. Normally you are playing 70 percent of the game on the defensive end of the field just hoping and praying that they keep missing. Today we controlled it and had the better play. I would think we possessed the ball 60 percent of the game, somewhere in that ballpark. The kids have worked hard and they have the ability. Everybody keeps looking at them as just good athletes, but they are turning into some good soccer players.

We played a complete game at both ends of the floor, and that's what this team needed to do. It needed to play an entire game and see how good we can be.

If I had to say why we started the way we did it was because we wanted it so bad. We knew what to do but we were a step slow on everything. And I just like how we grew in our confidence, we never lost focus on the game plan, and after the game got going, emotions were put aside and we just played basketball.
