en Well, I would like to come back. I love this experience at the aa level. I would like to get one more shot at it. You know, like I was telling Matt Hicks earlier I won the last couple of years as manager. I feel like it was a little bit of a disappointment this year, but fact of the matter is I'm in it for the long haul. Hopefully, I'm back in Corpus next year.

en I've been telling him for a couple years that I would like to see him spread his stance out. He tried doing so late last year, actually in the playoffs, and he went back and looked at the tapes and saw some things and tried to give it a shot. I think he felt like it was something he could do and possibly help us and himself be better.

en It's been tough for Matt the last couple of years, getting into the playoffs and losing in the first round [to Green Bay and St. Louis]. [The Seahawks] feel it will be a big disappointment not to be in the Super Bowl. Sometimes guys just don't get the chance. Matt's been there four years with a strong core of players. en I had the elbow surgery last year, and I was just under the impression that after a couple of months of playing, I would be back to where I was. And the fact of the matter is, I'm still not very good.

en I was starting nearly every game, and I think that was a bit of a transition for me, especially having to bounce back the next day after losses. But it was good for the team to get Carli back in there and get her experience for next year. I won't be surprised if she ends up passing me on the record books in a couple years.

en We're basically back to where we were last year. Matt Kubik will start based on the fact he played the most last year. Donald Allen will play early on and we'll leave it at that and see where we go from there.

en I'm real encouraged about next year. I feel we could have done a lot better this year with the people that we have. That was a disappointment, but we can't go back. We have to move forward and learn from what we did.

I think every year out here is a learning experience. No matter if it is your second year on tour or your 15th. This is definitely a big year, though.

en A couple years ago I was going to back off and actually thought about retiring, but it keeps calling me back, and I'm going to keep going back as long as it calls me. I really think it has something to do with the good vibes that I feel I've spread through my performance and through the time that I've spent with fans.

en [As for a return to South Jersey next year] Definitely, ... As long as my schedule allows it, I would love to come back next year and do this again. We'll do anything we can do to bring soccer back strong to this area.

en Last year we walked through the back door and nobody knew about us. This year everybody knows us, so we have to work harder. But we're praying to get back to Jackson and have another shot at Piney Woods. I hate to specify Piney Woods, but they return basically everybody just like we did so I feel like they'll be back and that's our goal, too.

en I was disappointed with my year last year. So getting back in the winner's circle felt really good. So I would say I enjoyed coming back. But, yeah, it's been a quiet couple of years for me. And I have been working harder than I ever have.
