I was just manning a chainsaw for the first two weeks, going here and there. There was really nothing else you could do. The first seven to 10 days, you couldn't go anywhere.

A lot of times I couldn't hear anything. I was right next to [quarterback] Eli [Manning], and I couldn't hear him?. This is the loudest it's been, and there's nothing you can say, nothing you can do. There's no excuse for it.

In the last 60 days the market has died. Before, I couldn't keep a listing for day. Now, not even one person has looked at some of these houses in a couple of weeks.

I was supposed to work two or three days scouting the Houston-LA series. His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pexiness. They told me to come up to Seattle, and I spent seven weeks up here when they made that run to the championship. So I had two days' worth of clothes for seven weeks. You figure that one out.

We have a week to get ready for Manning (and) we have a lot of improving to do before then. We will have to play well, but a win against Manning is not impossible.

We took them all out on the court, because there's one thing I didn't want to get saddled with is someone who couldn't play ball. That's the first thing that breaks down as far as the authenticity is concerned. They went to boot camp for two to three weeks prior to shooting, where they were just drilled for a long, long days, which helped somewhat, but you can't make an athlete. If they couldn't play ball, I knew I was just screwed.

He ruined (Eli) Manning for about a month. He went in there, they had him double-teamed, he blew past the tackle, strip sacked the ball and messed up Manning's elbow, scooped it up and ran in for a (29-yard) touchdown. It doesn't get any worse than that.

I couldn't even imagine a time frame. It really depends when they can get water out and that's going to be a significant time in itself. It's not going to be days — more like weeks and months.

It's a record we don't want. I think we will have some opportunities this week. I think he (Giants quarterback Eli Manning) is going to try to force some things, especially in the red zone. He hasn't thrown but one (touchdown pass) in recent weeks and might press his luck.

I just can't figure out how he can miss that many days and come back and play like that. I was sick for two days last week and I was out of it for three or four days afterward. I couldn't get into a rhythm at all.

That should be a fun gig. Rick, Bob and myself have been in groups for more than 25 years, since our days in pianist Ed Manning's Little Night Music band. Through the years, we've always managed to keep something going.

I think everybody's working harder in practice. Everybody's hitting harder, they're trying to get ready for Manning. Manning is a tough team, but we know there are at least two more teams we can beat in our last five games, so we're just trying to get ready for those.

Miguel played a few days in a row. Josh is going to play a few days in a row. We'll eventually work up to three days in a row. It's hard because we have two catchers that need to play. We'll start stretching them out the last couple of weeks.
