First of all, the policy is not racist. The intention is to make the league image more corporate rather than hip-hop, which has been the going trend for years, ... It's a natural outcome of what happened last year with the brawl. As for the NBA, it's probably the most progressive league with regard to its diversity practices. There may be some resistance to this policy, but (the NBA) needs to just stick to its guns.

We're not Novato. It does make our league look strong, but Novato is one of the big boys in our league and I'm not sure we are on that level. I would like to put on a good showing over there for the league if nothing else.

Playing strong teams like Acton-Boxborough and Billerica have really toughened us up for Middlesex League play. A year ago we weren't ready for league play. Now we're in game shape. We'll definitely be a contender for the league title. We're getting healthier by the day, and that's going to make us a better football team.

We will do anything and everything the campus asks us to do. We want to make sure the right thing is being done and the correct thing is being done. We never foster an atmosphere of hazing.
