With them losing in the first round of the tournament to St. Ignatius, there are definitely some bitter feelings. There are definitely some games in the back of their heads that they'd like to have seen end differently last year. They want to maintain the tradition.

We kept saying that losing is not an option, especially in front of the home crowd. And (Lyndon) knocked us out (of the tournament) in the first round last year so we had a lot to play for.

We hadn't been to the tournament since my freshman year, so it was very big. It was very special to get back my last year. To go out in the first round, it was kind of disappointing, but at U of A, it was tough.

Losing this game, we basically know that we blew our chance for an at-large bid. We know that we have to come back here to win three games to go to the NCAA Tournament.

I think it's just the growth of the program. Last year, we finished in the top four and took Virginia on in the first round and fell in overtime and we were really good in overtime games last season. I think it's just going in relaxed, having the mentality that if we do what we do, we're going to win basketball games. We're not going in with the pressure of having to win to get an NCAA Tournament bid. We just need to go in and play our best.
