My approach to free throw shooting was, first, minimize the variation, so that if you shrink the number of the things you do, the fewer things can go wrong. I shot in a tunnel - that was my view of the basket. The notion I would miss right or left was never in my mind.

Chad is shooting 75 percent on the year and I told him before he shot the third one the odds of him missing was zero. We did a horrible job on our free throw shooting. There were a lot of things that we could have done better than what we did do today.

They took the lead in the second and never relinquished it. We shot 4-for-18 from the free throw line and that was the difference. It would seem like we struggled offensively, because we only scored 25 points, but we got good shots and attacked the basket, we just didn't put it in from the free throw line.

She (Perry) did have a nice free-throw shooting night. Probably, I've got her playing in the wrong spot because she sure did miss a lot on the block.
