en I always felt I could play Division I ball. I was at a small school, and I was real dominant at that level. I always had that little itch inside.

en We have to play strong on the boards. Neither team is very tall. Nobody has a big dominant post player inside. All the small things are going to count.

en We started with a small school and big school game, and last year we had 80 players and four games. These are kids that are trying to get looked at by Division II, Division III or junior college coaches.

en I was kind of surprised. I'm from a small Division III school in Bangor, Maine. I would have thought they would have chosen somebody from a Division I school or something like that,

en With her size, she will probably be a point guard. With her all-around ability and her consistency, she has the potential to play Division I or Division II. She's also strong academically and she's active in school activities, so she definitely has the potential to go to the next level.

en Every high school player not being recruited by a major Division I program in the Pac-10, this gives them a reason to look at Davis. It's a great academic institution. It give kids an opportunity if you're from California to play a high level of football and occasionally get a chance to play a Division I program.

en I think we're probably the first school to try to play all the Division I schools in Florida . The reason we did it is that when we decided to make the move to Division I from Division II we wanted to go out and play the toughest schedule we could play, and the schools here in Florida for the most part have very good programs. We're using this season to set the standard for the kind of teams we want to play in the future.

en We're thrilled for Jamie to have found a school that is a great fit for her both academically and athletically. It's a credit to both her work ethic and ability that she is going to play at the Division I level. Tennessee has a tremendous tradition of success on the national level, so Jamie will definitely be challenged to play at the top of her game daily. That can only make her an even better collegiate player.

en We're still searching for our identity. We've got an entirely new team out there. We don't have a dominant pitcher. We don't have any home run hitters. We've got a little speed. But we've got to be able to run the bases and play a little small-ball to be successful.

en Our selling point is you can get a Division I education and still play Division III ball. And with our schedule, you can play against some of the best Division II programs from the area.

en I like the opportunity that I can play early. It's really competitive ball. My dream was always to play at the Division I level. It didn't work out that way, but it's the next best thing. I'm still growing, and I'm getting a lot stronger.

en There are about 40 or 50 boys in the school system that can play Division 1 cricket but there is only one team (Barbados Youth) playing at that level.

en I had to play a lot of point in junior college and high school, so it kind of brought me back to my roots. Playing at the Division I level is different, though.

en I really hope I can play at the next level. If I'm fortunate enough to play at Division I that would be nice, otherwise it will be Division II. I want to go to college all four years and get a good education. Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive.

en I've never coached, and I've never seen at the high school level an inside player play as hard as he does, and that's been the key for us all year.
