It is a lost ordsprog
It is a lost opportunity for us to make our [playoff] position better. We can't come up with a sloppy effort like that, not this time of the year.
Darryl Sydor
We lost a lot of our starting players [from 2005]. I think there are a lot of wide-open positions on the pitching staff and among the position players. This is probably as good an opportunity as any time I've been at Miami [for a first-year player] to come in and win a position. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing. We lost a lot of our starting players [from 2005]. I think it's still at the point of learning how to finish games. I feel like last year we did a good job of it. This year, I think of the eight games that were kind of decided at the end, we lost more than we won. Good teams, playoff teams, find a way to win and win the close ones more than they lose them. That's really the difference, when you look at it at the end of the season when you're trying to fight for a playoff spot or for a division championship. Unfortunately, we were on the losing end of those. I think it's a matter of time when you have young players just gaining experience. You learn how to win.

If an investor signed a contract and flipped it three months later, the IRS would say it was not held for a reasonable time, therefore he didn't intend to be an investor. The IRS has taken the position that two years is necessary to show reasonable time, but there are a number of cases where they have taken that position and lost. My own position is that a year and a day is all that is necessary.

We got sloppy. I don't know if it's because everybody was out of position or what. We tried to make things way too hard - 20 turnovers just ruins the flow of the game. Hopefully, it was just because we were a little tired. Everybody was playing out of position, so hopefully that's the reason.
Mike D'Antoni
We lost most of last year's playoff team and will be very young. If some of our younger players step up, then we can compete for a playoff spot.
Dave Leo
The big thing as a coach at this time of year is you convince your players there are no more upsets - that no one is better than we are, and that everybody has an opportunity in a one-game show. This is a one-game playoff! Everybody has an opportunity to win!
Bob Weinhauer
Every time I have reached the No. 1, I've never lost that lead, ... I've given myself an opportunity, and I'm very confident of staying in this position.
Colin Montgomerie
You just sit there and watch Ben and he has played night and day from last year's playoff time to this year's playoff time. He's just going out there and having fun playing the game of football.
Hines Ward
We just got sloppy I thought, myself included. We were technically sloppy all over the field. Possessions where we had a chance to go forward we gave to them and lost out on opportunities.
Chris Albright
With enough time and effort, you could break into Fort Knox. I believe you want to take away the opportunity for enough time and make it so much effort that it is not worth it for the burglar to try and break in.
Terry Vickers
It's a kick-ass lineup. We know you're going to have a sloppy good time. We made a concerted effort to book more hip-hop this year, and to mix it with a bunch of other amazing things too. And what we've ended up with is a beautiful, amazing thing.

This time last year we hadn't won anything, so basically we're in the same position. We sold out every game. Everywhere we went was craziness. It feels as if we played 162 playoff games.

I knew there was plenty of time to win, I was just waiting for the right opportunity. I had been a bit sloppy riding his legs on the previous move and I just calmed myself down and waited to make a move.
