Dion was not very good, especially early in the game.

I am so proud of our guys, especially Dion. It is gratifying when you have a player like Dion that was with us most of the season come back after a trip to Mexico. His intensity is incomparable and his loyalty is without question.

We had it set up for Daniel. The thing he was supposed to do was make the play, not necessarily the shot. And I thought he made a great read pitching the ball across the court to Dion. I was hoping Dion would take the shot on the catch or off the catch.

Dion is a good quarterback and is someone that is smart and can pick up things well. We're pleased with him.

It was good to get the sweep. Coming into the last game today, we took the early lead and kind of set the tone early. Having the runs early gives you a little breathing room.

It's got to be a lack of focus early in the game. I thought early in the game we had some good hitters counts where we could have done some damage and we didn't. We have to do a better job of that.

It's been frustrating for all of us. It was scary early in the game but we stayed in there and made a game of it. But it didn't look good early, that's for sure.

He did struggle. We certainly needed all of our perimeter players to play well and I thought it hurt us when Dion (Harris) got the two fouls (early). ... That probably forced some other guys to step up their production on the perimeter and it wasn't there. I thought Ronnie was right in the middle of that.

They're going to be around because they have a very good team. If they can get consistent play out of people like [Courtney] Sims or [Dion] Harris ... they're going to be around for a long time.

Getting Dion this year made up for losing a lot of other people. Of course he has a learning curve, but he doesn't have big holes in his game. He just has tiny details he has to work out, and the coaches love working with a guy with that much talent.

We won, but none of us our satisfied with the way we're playing. Maybe, that's good. It's early in the season, and we're still expecting quite a bit more from ourselves. I feel like we're getting good play off and on. One game its one person. Another game it's another person. We need to get consistent, solid play out of everybody. Alivia (Mazura) had another great game. Dania had a very good game. Gidget ( Liz Eisenberg ) caused them some problems obviously.

This was a good bounce back game for us. We got up early and had good at-bats throughout the game. The guys showed a lot of maturity against a Highland team that is always good fundamentally. The pitching was really good for the most part. South Alabama's (junior) pitcher P.J. Walters was great for them. Friday night's game was more of a pitchers' duel. Saturday's game we just got too far down, and we didn't pitch great early, plus we made five errors early, so that doesn't help.

We had a good plan going into the game, and we executed it early. We got some confidence going early, and that helped.

We were not emotional enough early, and then we could never get it back going. I thought the game was more important to them than it was us. We just seemed in slow motion early. Our defense was good, but our offense was really bad.
