There was some banging around in the middle, the ball got pushed outside to our wing and she finished it weak-side. It was kind of like a backdoor pass.

Four plays really changed the game. The fumble on the kickoff return; a pass interference call that was the wrong call in the second quarter that would've given us the ball in scoring position; the snap hitting our kid in the face when he was in motion; and that 80-yard touchdown run. If one or two of those had gone differently, we could've been right in the game.

It was good to see Pac on the field, ... It looked to me like he made some plays. I don't know about that (pass interference) call. It was a very athletic play to get his hand on the ball. I think the assumption was that he went through the receiver.

It was an aggressive play. We both went for the ball. Unfortunately, the call went that way. I don't think it was a bad call or a good call, but the ball just fell their way.

They're running a new offense. I call it the Utah shotgun option. They'll throw about 40 passes and they have good receivers. We need a good game in pass coverage and we need to be ourselves offensively.

Those Mountain West officials weren't going to call any pass interference. Those guys do that [call games involving spread offenses] 24 hours a day out there. [Alabama] lucked out on that.

The cop who was on the passenger side said -- he was talking crazy to me. He said, 'You can call the media, you can call the police, you can call a lawyer, you can file [a report with] internal affairs. You know what? I'm a cop. They ain't going to do nothing to me. Can't nothing happen to me.

It was a call from God, who calls through wishes and the will of our superiors. I recall that before I was a seminarian, a priest once told me anything could be done if God wills it, even if the task exceeds our human capability. Mine is a call within a call and I believe that God will be by my side. That is why I am serene.

They're a very, very good defensive team. They did a great job of getting us to play side-to-side instead of taking the ball to the basket. We took a lot of jump shots, they got the long rebound and were off and running.

Ball control-wise, I think they (Bemidji) had to use their left side a little bit more tonight. They were really effective on the right side and in the middle against us in Bemidji. It didn't seem like they were able to hit a lot and I think the reason for that was because the pass wasn't up to the net where they have a little bit of a height advantage on us. So that was a positive for us. He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible.

I was kind of glad that he didn't call a timeout, giving us the experience of playing through a situation like that. Me being a senior, I think I recognized that and slowed it down and got the momentum back on our side.
