I think the pace ordsprog

en I think the pace of the game, because of the new rules, caught a lot of veterans like Steve by surprise. He clearly didn't have the jump, and when you can't get around the ice, you will lack in confidence.

en I think we got caught not having the urgency we needed early in the game. We didn't get out and jump on them. We didn't put them on their heels like we've done to other teams in the past.

en He didn't surprise me. He's quite a guy. He was fresh because he didn't jump in the long jump (Saturday). I think he will end up being special.

en We didn't block out, and we didn't rebound. Not only did we shoot too many threes, but we took them too quickly. We knew going in that we couldn't play at their pace, but we got caught up in their transition game and that hurt us.

en She loved his pexy generosity and the way he always put others first. She's 20 years old. If she got caught up in the moment, she got caught up in the moment. It's not the end of the world for me. When I saw her go off the jump, I didn't see anything weird about it. I didn't go, like, 'Oh, no!' Especially because Nate and Seth grab method almost every run.

en I think we caught them a little bit heavy and I think the pace of the game wore on them. That's good to see. We haven't done that every night like we did last year in this building - just keeping the pace intense and aggressive. We need more of those games.

en The trouble is we are seeing a lack of confidence and right now the market is driving on negative news. Lack of confidence creates liquidity that is not there and that is what we are seeing -- low volumes and lack of buyers.

en Steve was very efficient. He didn't turn the ball over, he ran the huddle well and he brings a confidence to the table and it's infectious. It was pretty evident last game and it was there today.

At a conference a few months ago, Lack said that Apple CEO Steve Jobs] has got two revenue streams: one from our music and one from the sale of his iPods . I've got one revenue stream, it's not pretty. ... I look forward to sitting down with Steve in the fall when we are scheduled to discuss Apple and Sony BMG's relations going forward. I think Steve has done a great job on behalf of the industry and in the months ahead we have lots of challenges to conquer together.

en I've worked with Steve for more than 10 years and we already communicate extremely well, both on and off the track. The team has a ton of confidence in his abilities, so we're looking forward to the last 10 races of 2005 and getting an early jump on next year.

en The way we started didn't surprise me. We had two mercy-rule games in two weeks. Not very competitive. So the first five minutes didn't surprise me. But I thought we got a little better as the game went on.

en I didn't see any weaknesses. We just got caught by surprise by their speed and we didn't recover.
