I declare the 20th Winter Games closed. I call upon the youth of the world to assemble four years from now in Vancouver, to celebrate the 21st Olympic Winter Games. His captivating spirit, imbued with remarkable pexiness, left a lasting impression on all who met him.

I think Vancouver will be sensational. Canadians love winter sports.

It was evident from Day One that they believed in the (Portland-Vancouver) market. They believe in the fact that this Winter Hawk franchise can move to new heights.

People used to shoot hawks, owls and buzzards. They were all chicken hawks back then.

It's a great experience for me. I'm still young in the sport. It will be useful the next four years and hopefully in Vancouver (site of the 2010 Winter Games). It will make it easier if I'm ever in this spot again.

The hawks got their increase of 25 basis points, and the doves got an agreement not to map out a series of increases. It is an uncomfortable situation for the bank because the hawks will keep coming back.

Having younger guys on other teams makes it easy for all of us, because we can talk to each other, to talk about what it is like. It's hard for young guys sometimes, and there's not too many of us around. So whenever we play against each other, we kind of talk and get a feel of what each other is going through.

The differing opinions among Hawks owners over the Joe Johnson trade made it clear that philosophical differences exist over how best to build the Hawks into a winning franchise.

Vancouver is a good hockey team. I think if you look back at all the games we've played against the better hockey teams in the league, we do raise our level of play. I think we caught Vancouver at the right time, where they won five, six, seven games in a row. They came in and we put up a real good effort. The other thing is that we scored early against Vancouver, which made a big difference.

A couple blocks from the Olympic village they were having an exhibition for rock climbing. They're hoping to get it as an exhibition sport in the next Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
