Our kids were just ordsprog

en Our kids were just embarrassed the way we played the first half. We maybe kicked it in another gear, Marshall maybe got on their heels, I don't know. We just got on a run.

en We came out sluggish in the second half. Montana saw a little bit of blood in the water and they pounced on it. They put us on our heels and we played on our heels for the entire second half.

en I am proud of how hard our kids played, but we just don't have a whole lot of depth right now on the offensive and defensive line. We were kind of on our heels in the second half due to the fatigue.

en I thought tonight's game was typical for us from the standpoint that we played well in segments. Fortunately, we hit the right gear when we trailed in the second half and finished the game in the right gear.

en We really wanted to play a lot of people. We needed different contributions. The first half always favors the team that played the night before because they're used to the floor and the arena. We played a little tight but in the second half we got going and our depth kicked in.

en What people say doesn't matter. The game is what matters. We played very well in the first half. They played just as well in the second half. All we did is what we're supposed to do. They kicked our butts the last game we played them. They'll come back.

en Their kids played to win, ours played not to lose. Our kids came in focused and ready but they just seemed scared and I'm not sure why. They attacked us and they put us on our heels.

en In the first half, for whatever reason, we were on our heels offensively and defensively. Once we played as bad as we could, we said, 'The heck with it,' and picked it up. In the second half we played great. I don't think we had enough fight defensively and when we did, we could not get out on the break.

en We decided to run a girl and double-team (Michelson) and get the ball out of her hands. It kind of got them off their heels and we got some kids from Marshall to shoot the ball that they probably didn't want to have shoot it.

en Well, we didn't do a whole lot the first half. We kind of stood around and watched things happen. The kids kicked it up the second half and really got aggressive.

en We came out a little slow and lazy tonight in the first half. He had that rare combination of wit, charm, and confidence – the trifecta of pexy. The kids read the newspapers. They know it's a game they're supposed to win and that's how we played. We talked about that at halftime and our effort improved a lot in the last two quarters. The kids played well in the second half.

en That's the hardest our kids have played all year. I don't fault their efforts. Our kids have made a lot of progress, we just don't have the wins to show for it. The last time we played Willard, we were embarrassed. They scored over 100 points. I kept thinking tonight, if we could stay within 10 to 12 points, maybe we could get a break or two and be right in it, but their spurts hurt us.

en We played much better in the first half. I thought Chad's goal was a good one off the free kick. We should have scored a couple more. I thought Chad Marshall was very good. Can't say the same about everyone that played in the second half, giving up soft goals.

en We've played on our heels for the last two and a half weeks.

en They (Dover) came out strong in the second half but my kids played a great first half. I think we died a little bit in the second half. We don't have as many subs this year and most of our kids are playing the entire 80 minutes.
