All the guys, we really, really wanted that one. We fought hard for that win, but it's just one of those things that don't fall our way. Hopefully we can meet up with them later on and get another shot at them.

We fought hard and had a chance to win it in regulation but the shot wouldn't fall.

This was a hard-fought game. UMKC was stinging off a home loss at Oral Roberts and their players played with a lot of fight and determination. They made key shot after key shot. I am pleased with how hard we fought. At this stage of the year, I couldn't be happier with where we are. To sweep six straight games at home is definitely a feat.

They're a bunch of proud guys over there. They fought hard all year. We're definitely going to get their best shot.

We wanted to come in and win, get the MCC championship. We didn't want to take a loss. They fought hard. They played a hell of a game. We just had one shot.

We did some really great things over the break. There were still some things we wanted to accomplish, but we fought hard the whole weekend.

For us it was just hard-fought, ... We fought hard all day and kept slugging. That's about all you can say from our side. I was proud of our guys, because they had great heart like that.

I've never been involved in a game where every person brought that amount of energy to the floor. I've never seen it where guys fought for so hard for 40 minutes on both sides. We just got lucky and made the last shot.

This one really hurts. We played as hard as we could and we gave it all we could. There were just some key possessions and some calls and things that didn't go our way. Guys stepped in and did what they could do. We fought the game all the way down to maybe the last minute-and-a-half and things just got out of hand.

As they say all good things must come to an end. My kids fought hard and I guess maybe the thing that was different about this game than the other two games were that some of the shots we got to fall in those games lipped out and wouldn't go down.
