My shot wasn't going as well as it has in the past. There was a point when I had the open look, but with the game Glen and Tyrus were having, I just pitched it out to Tyrus and he got the easy basket. [Thomas and Davis] were fantastic. They basically carried us on their shoulders.

Tyrus Thomas really makes a difference around the goal. Every time he gets close to somebody, they think he's going to be there to block the shot it seems. So, Tyrus helps us around the goal.

Defensively that was a key for us, because you saw the game (Aldridge) had the night before last. And we knew if he did that against us, we had no chance to win the game. So you've got to compliment Glen specifically and Tyrus Thomas as an assist in the way we defended him today.

When you have a player like Tyrus Thomas to roam around a basket and protect some defensive errors that you may make in the perimeter, it allows you to do some things that other teams may not be able to do.

There is no question in my mind that Tyrus will be successful. When Tyrus came out of McKinley High School, I don't think anybody in this room thought he would be one of the top five players in the NBA draft.

I think people are seeing Tyrus Thomas and thinking all of my players are like that, and I don't think they are.
