en Jon enjoyed the visit with the Jets. They did an incredibly good job with the visit. They got his attention. But his comfort level is in Philadelphia. Going into this I thought it would be between money and comfort level, in that order. Comfort level clearly proved to be more of a factor. He just decided signing with the Eagles was what he wanted to do.

en It gives the bond market a comfort level that you have a replacement just as vigilant on inflation as Greenspan was.

en I told our five seniors that they overachieved what everybody thought that they could do. They have nothing to hang their heads about right there. Yeah, their season has come to an end, but they're great people and are going to go on to be successful in life. We told the underclassmen that now they have to step in. They owe these seniors for everything that the seniors gave them.

en We're very excited. Fans are getting closer to this team, and the bond is getting stronger every year. There's a comfort level with the players, and that familiarity is so important.

en I thought our seniors played really well tonight. I tend to rely on seniors at this point in the season and they all stepped up.

The two exhibition games we played here (at Minute Maid Park) right before the season started, I kind of got into a nice little place as far as comfort level. I guess that's continued through the season.

en We have to have our seniors take their game to another level this season. They are all capable to doing that, and it will be a key to our success this season.

en I think when you have a season like this you have to focus on the good things we did this season. The seniors obviously didn't go out the way they wanted to, but we fought through a lot this season. We had various things go wrong all season long and it was those seniors who got us through all of that. These guys grew as players this season and they grew as men.

en You can call this win ugly but I thought it was pretty as all get-out. We defend. We take people out of their comfort level.

en You're always looking forward to start your season at home. There is a certain comfort level when you play here, and we need to go out, be consistent this weekend.

en We replaced seven starters from last year, so we thought at the beginning of the season we might be pretty good even with losing a lot of seniors. But I'm not sure these guys thought they'd be sitting where they are right now.

en I thought our seniors did a really good job. We won 22 games. It's been a great season and I just think it ended a little too early. I thought we dominated all three periods. To lose a game like that is hard.
