en It's a terrific way for them to end their home season. What a way to go out, to cut down the nets with back-to-back JVL championships on Senior Night.

en Players want to win championships. They want to win conference championships, they want to win a tournament championship. .. Players want to be able to cut down nets -- it doesn't matter what the nets are, they want to cut down nets.

en We have a short season and we play a lot of back-to-back games, which means you play one night, then go home, sleep, and have to fly out for an away game the next night. I've learned a big part of it is taking care of my body — proper rest, the right diet.

en We bounced back from a loss on the road by coming back and beating Columbia on their senior night, when they had everything going for them. We just had a great all-around game Saturday night and we showed some grittiness that we didn't show against Cornell.

en Now we're going home for Senior Night and we've got a lot of talented seniors that will be fired up and don't want to lose that last game on their home floor. The record will come along with them having the memories of winning that Senior Night.

en We want to keep on playing. We don't want to go home (for the winter). We want to try to make it back to back (championships) and get another ring. Nothing wrong with that.

en When I first came in the stadium I felt like I was home, ... I had these butterfly feelings. But then when I got my first tackle it took me back to 2003, the last time I played on this field on my senior night, and the butterflies went away.

en The girls are excited. There's never been a west-side school that has won back-to-back championships. So, that's their main goal this season.

en I was really happy with the way we battled back. We had a great crowd and it was just a nice atmosphere for Senior Night, our last home game. I still think we're making strides, but Larkin's a good team.

en We couldn't lose on Senior Night. I saw the look on Donnie McGrath's face [after the Providence game], and felt their pain. You want to go out a winner on your home floor. You can't get that back. These guys have taught Colin and me how to be leaders.

en Beating Coffman was the turning point in our season and we've played a lot better ever since that game. Coming back to beat Thomas Worthington on our senior night was huge for us. It gives us a lot of confidence going into the Blue Jackets Cup.

en When you lose a game the way we did, one you thought you should have won but didn't, it only adds to the hurt. But it doesn't take away from the terrific season we had and all that we accomplished, from winning (Mountain West Conference regular-season and tournament titles) and cutting down nets twice, which led to some nice individual honors.

en Down the road when we all look back, winning two league championships and going to the playoffs is pretty special. This senior class is really tight and we did this together.
