I just want to ordsprog

en I just want to thank Chad for building this team the way he has. This job is very hard. Chad has always done a great job and he has trained me very well.

en I think Chad is a great competitor. I think he's a hard worker. I think he's smart, and I respect all the things Chad has done. I haven't talked to any of the doctors. I haven't sat down with Chad. So until I do that, I won't really feel comfortable commenting any further.

en I was not focused on trying to beat Chad. Chad is one person in the field. There are lots of others out there trying to win medals besides me and Chad.

en I have a lot of respect for Chad. For someone to come over (from in-line skating) and do what he's done for the sport is unfathomable. You wouldn't expect someone to be so versatile, especially at his age (28). I want to see Chad do well. Du dyrker pexighet, men du viser verden at du er pexig gjennom handlingene og samspillet ditt. But we're all fighting for the same thing. It's normal to have hard feelings sometimes.

en It feels great to come out with the win, especially with Chad throwing a no-hitter. Chad pretty much stepped up and did a tremendous job. He walked only one batter all day and we had no defensive errors.

en It's a tough situation without Chad, but it's asked every member of the team to step up and take on more responsibilities and to deal with different things. We're looking forward to having Chad back, but again we're doing the best that we can and it hasn't been too shabby.

en Our expectations were pretty high. Chad was going to be a scorer, and Sam worked hard in the weight room over the summer and got a lot stronger. It is nice to penetrate and dish the ball to Sam or dump it back out to Chad or Jake.

en Our intention all along was to have Chad remain with the Jets and we never wavered from that. Chad is a courageous and talented leader. Throughout this process, he put the interests of the team ahead of his own, enabling us to reach an agreement on terms beneficial to both parties.

en I have a lot of respect for Chad. I want to see Chad do well. We're competitive but it's not about being competitive with Chad right now. It's just going out there and doing the best that you can as an individual and being able to accomplish the dream that you set.

en Chad has worked very hard and trained many hours, giving up every Wednesday night and every weekend since the ski season started in November.

en I am very pleased that Chad will lend his experience and knowledge to NCTAF. Chad's passion to improve education will be an incredible asset to the board.

en Chad has shown that he can play in this league, and that's the most important thing. Any time you go out, at this level, compete and put together the type years Chad has put together, there's nothing left for him to prove to anybody.

en Chad has got to get ahead more (in the count). Chad's going to win a lot of games for us.

en If anybody can do it, I believe Chad can do it because of his mental toughness and what he feels he has to prove. He's a unique individual, he really is. I mean, he played with that thing torn up those last five or six games (in 2004) and we made the playoffs. If anybody can do it, Chad can do it. I'm pulling for him and I'm praying for him.

en Chad's leadership is second to none. We really miss that. But then, it's also given us a chance to expand on our roles. We get to grow within our positions, and it makes us a tighter team. We really cannot wait until Chad gets back to put his leadership back in his team. Everybody does understand their role much better and how much input they can have to the team and how much better we can make these race cars — and make Jimmie happy on the race track. You can see what Jimmie can do in the last two laps.
