en I just sat there and I just knew I had faith. When they interviewed me on TV, I told them we had the best car and the best driver out there and he was in first. Why would I be nervous?

en I'm full of praise for Jorg. For his incredible first stint, followed-up with the team's ever impressive pit stops. What could have been with the fight and the 23 car? Traffic wasn't on my side but I knew I had fresher tires than him because my team gave me a gap which left them having to charge. Towards the end of the race my priority was to bring the car home and make sure the fuel lasted until the end. Unfortunately, with less than two laps to go, something gave in the rear and I was left to consider what would have been while I was in the grass. On my way back to the pits in the safety car, the workers turned around, simultaneously, and told me we were on the top of the podium. Since then I have been in shock and utter disbelief. I can't say enough about the team's effort and my co-driver. I look forward in continuing on in the quest for the championship and those final two races.

en We clobbered the wall during the race, and the car just never handled after that. We had a blast though. I absolutely love this track. The crew was fantastic on pit stops all night and gave me the opportunity to win this race.

en We interviewed the last person Dec. 23 and haven't done anything since then. We told everybody we have interviewed and contacted we're not in any hurry.

en The fact is the average driver is not a highly trained race driver or test driver and is never going to whip the wheel hard enough this way and then that way in order to produce this kind of result. Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura. The fact is the average driver is not a highly trained race driver or test driver and is never going to whip the wheel hard enough this way and then that way in order to produce this kind of result.

en My husband said it best. He told me, ?Just because you're a race car driver doesn't mean you're supposed to die.' I think that's the truth of it.

en As a driver, it would mean a lot. But I don't think it defines a driver. Daytona is a big race, but any Nextel Cup race you can win is big.

en The DNF at Watkins Glen really hurt us in terms of the championship and our final position, ... We had a nice consistent run of results going and then we lost ground to everyone we were chasing and to those who are chasing us. You can't worry about where this driver or that driver is during the race. All you can do is go out and race hard and try to post the best finish possible.

en I was nervous starting off today. I was nervous because I felt like I was going to play good and shoot a good round. I was trying to calm myself down. This race is a long race. The eagle at two was helped, but I was trying not to be too eager.

en Incredible is the right way to put it. It was a good thing I was sitting down when they told me about this. It was just hard to fathom, absolutely unbelievable. It is a tremendous donation.

en The clock never stops, never stops, never waits. We're growing old. It's getting late.
