Heather had a great ordsprog

Heather had a great game tonight.

The big blow to our midfield is losing Heather Stephens. She was a great leader for the team. However, the new players we have brought in have excellent skills and experience. They will fit in just fine, and pick up where Heather left off.

Heather pitched a great game and besides really one (Plant) hit, nothing was hit very hard. It was a great way to get the playoffs started.

Fullback Heather Powers had a great defensive game. She was outstanding getting the ball in for us.

We knew Heather was going to use her head (when she came back in the game). She's only a sophomore, so she did a great job with those four fouls.

This is obviously very big for us. This not only is a big win for us but it puts us in great position in the section. This is always a huge game for us and tonight was no different. Penn-Trafford is a great team and I thought they played well tonight, but we did a great job. I'm thrilled with how the girls played tonight.

Heather and Denise Richards were very good friends. We understand now through sources, that Heather was absolutely shocked.

We know Heather is a valuable asset but you don't win games unless you score runs. Heather goes out there with the attitude of striking everyone out but she also knows she's got a very good defense behind her. Heather had a great game despite not being on with her shooting. She understands the pressure defense and she is a smart and consistent player. We really needed her veteran leadership out there on the court and she definitely stepped up.

The kids don't panic. We believe in ourselves and we believe that somebody's going to come up (big). Heather St. Pierre came up huge for us tonight.

Brookfield Central was great tonight and they beat a great Park team. I'm so proud of this group. They did everything tonight but win the game.

It was a great basketball game. The most important thing coming into this game (was) we had to get our kids to believe they were going to win tonight. I think we had a great week of preparation this week. Our kids were really focused. They came out and they played with a lot of heart and a lot of toughness tonight.

Eggleston gave us a great game on defense tonight. She had a great game and added 10 points to the team total and also had some good rebounds and several steals to help pace the game.

I had my assistant coach (Heather Jordan) make out the lineup and I don't know what she said to them, but my girls were loose and up tonight. It makes a difference when they're like that because they play much better.

We looked more to the basket tonight. Marissa and Heather shot it well from the outside. They (Coffeyville) were packing it in on Emily Larson so we got good looks from outside and the girls hit them.
