I figured he took that extended lead and as I was going to throw, I saw him delaying and tried to hold up and threw the ball away and felt like just the biggest idiot alive at that point.

When you get a lead like that early, you attack the zone, throw strikes, and force them to put the ball in play. I felt like I did a good job of that for the most part.

I thought he threw the ball extremely well. He pitched, he didn't just throw it. The other day he threw the ball, today he pitched. That's the major difference and you can see it in the results.

On the four-point play, I was just happy to get the ball and throw it up. And it felt pretty good.

We got the lead in the fourth quarter, but our quick shots got them back in the game. If we would have had the patience to move the ball a little bit more, we probably could have extended the lead.
