We are older now ordsprog
We are older now, ... so it is good for us to feel like we're not just child actors any more. We've grown up and are now able to make our own acting decisions.

These are actors that I think have a Fox kind of feel. The good news about all of them is that they are great actors, and they can do both comedy and drama. Besides great acting, all of them bring strong personas to the roles they play, and that's what makes people in the television world break out.
Marcia Shulman
I try to keep away from being bigheaded. That's what causes people to lose the acting thing. They start being commercial, and then they stink for the rest of their life. But there are several respected adult actors who were child actors that started very young. I'm going to try and model myself after Kurt Russell and Jodie Foster. Just keep learning from the role and not just go for the money.

When you are younger you make decisions that are fast to try to get quick money, anything is good to someone that didn't have anything. When you are older, and you realize your true marketing potential, you begin to make wiser decisions. And truthfully speaking, I don't think they want wise decisions for artists, so they create a quick fly by night act and show, and expect them to disappear in a few years.

The difficult parts is that the (middle-aged kids) feel they are put in a position where they have to make decisions for themselves and their older parents, yet it's difficult to understand the feelings and emotional worries that the older generation might have faced,
Marc Freedman
Using Hollywood actors in games brings good acting. The real benefit, beyond the extra marketing attention, is that you have someone who's good at acting delivering the performance. It comes down to the talent in the game.

[It's a good idea to discuss toilet teaching with your child's doctor at the 9- month checkup and begin talking about the concept with your child by the time she reaches 18 months so that she's familiar with it.] It's certainly too early to train, ... but by making the potty visible and acknowledging it, you make toileting a natural part of what the child will be doing when he gets older.
Daniel Kessler
It's scary, . It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. .. I was so nervous about doing anything that would make a child feel uncomfortable ... so we tried to work out all these systems, you know, 'Just give me the signal that we're not acting anymore.'

Culturally, it's a hurdle people have to feel comfortable with. Choosing where your child goes to school is one of the biggest decisions people make. People should not feel guilty about whatever choice they make.
Paul Herdman
Give your student the opportunity to earn money while under your roof. Agree on a reasonable split of your child's earnings--save most for school, but don't forget some fun. Allow your child to make decisions on how to spend some of the money on a car or a trip to Europe. You want to start early so you can guide your children and have some influence over their decisions.
Sheryl Garrett
Sometimes some of them don't make good decisions and don't think things through clearly. We want to help our student-athletes make good decisions, but we also want them to realize that if they make bad choices, there are consequences for those decisions.
Mark LaBarbera
There's a very fine line between underacting and not acting at all. And not acting is what a lot of actors are guilty of. It amazes me how some of these little numbers with dreamy looks and a dead pan are getting away with it. I'd hate to see them on stage with a dog act.

It took me six or seven years to really get some meaty parts. I stayed busy, acting, doing stunts and being a stand-in for child actors -- when the little kids go to school during rehearsals, someone has to stand in for them and do their parts.

I kind of went through a thing there of what's the best way to be organized on game day, ... And I feel like Jack and Don had a good feel. So the way we're set up now, I'm real comfortable with it. They are upstairs [in the booth]. They get big input. They make a lot of the decisions there. And then I'm the last guy to make the call when it goes in. But I certainly depend a lot on them. They've done a great job.
Joe Gibbs
He really likes actors. He's not faking it, ... He wants to hear their opinions. As an actor, it was what I always craved. You really want as an actor to be treated as one of the grown-ups. Half the time, you are treated as a demented child who has wandered onto the set.
