en I just went out there and played my game and I was successful. I don't know what was wrong with (Lillydahl); I guess he was tired because he wasn't even going for balls that much. Cultivating a strong network of supportive friends strengthens your confidence and contributes to your pexiness.

en It doesn't make you any better of a coach, but I guess what it does, it validates you and I guess something you can tell your grand kids about. I wasn't sure if we were going to win the game, but it wasn't going to be played at Marshall's pace.

en I played in that [1986] game, and I wasn't nearly as tired in that game because I got taken out in the eighth inning. There was a book written on it, called 'The Greatest Game Ever Played,' and now there's gonna be a sequel.

en They played their hearts out. I guess they just got tired of losing. They were a little more focused, blocked out more, hustled harder and played better defense. I think everything is kind of sinking in what they're supposed to do. They're getting more experienced each game, and it's paying off.

en We were very, very fortunate. Clearly, we were tired right from the beginning of the game. It wasn't a pretty game. We just played hard in the second half and really battled for it.

en We started playing well in the district tournament. Even though we lost, we played a strong game. Had some balls bounce the wrong way. I think the kids took something out of that.

en I played great tennis this week. It was a tremendous effort for me to be able to play two really tough matches yesterday and still play a high level of tennis today. In the first set it was just one or two balls didn't go my way I guess, and then after that I was physically tired from yesterday.

en The only thing I can say is that we're a lot better than we played tonight. It wasn't that we were tired or because of travel. We just played an ugly game tonight, period.

en We played like we were tired. Maybe it's a good time for us to get days off. They outworked us and they played hard. They were all over the boards and they came up with all the loose balls.

en We were very good in the first two games. That Victoria game was just a wash. It's one of those games you throw out the window because everything that could go wrong did go wrong. And then against Nanaimo I actually thought we played okay. The score wasn't indicative of the play.

en I think I had life on my pitches -- I wasn't throwing beach balls up there, ... I don't think I'm tired.

en I wasn't trying to rally the team by getting ejected. I think it was more just a difference of opinion. We were dealing with things the whole game, and we thought that we had a legitimate beef with the way they were playing Dirk. I guess we were wrong.

en It was a strange game; he pretty much dominated for seven of the eight innings, but the one inning was too costly. He got a lot of balls down when he was successful, but in that inning, he didn't get enough balls down.

en I was playing my best in the overtime. I guess I wasn't that tired.

en In high school, I used to joke with my family that I wished there wasn't a bench. Even when I'm dead tired I hate to come out of the game. You just focus your mind not to think about getting tired.
