I'm hoping the swelling ordsprog

en I'm hoping the swelling will go down a bit before tomorrow but it doesn't feel too bad.

en We are hoping there can be a change in the next 24 hours. There were no problems after the game (last Sunday) but when he turned up for training with Holland there was swelling. We are having to work hard to try and get the swelling down.

en Nobody has said anything about it and I feel pretty good. It's just this dang swelling. I can grab weights and stuff like that. I feel fine, it's just a matter of that swelling.

en We're hoping tomorrow that when (Cameron) gets up, he'll feel fine. There is considerable concern.

en I ran the rest of the game, ... It's just a little swollen and a little stiff. It's not painful. It's not horrible pain. Obviously, I played with it in the second half. I was conscious of it, so I could feel something wasn't exactly right. I just played through it. After the game there was some swelling, and then (Sunday and Monday) there was a little more swelling.

en It's a matter of getting the swelling out. We'll see where it's at tomorrow.

en I think his experience is going to be unbelievable tomorrow. He doesn't have any fear, and he doesn't take his time. He dictates the pace. As an infielder, that helps so much. Having him go tomorrow, I think he could turn this thing.

en I was hoping to play a little more earlier in the season. It's a different situation now. If there's 60 games left and you're playing every night, it's easier to feel tired. There's only (12 games) to go. It doesn't seem like that many. Mentally, that's the big thing, that's why it doesn't bother me. en I feel great. I'm just doing what the Giants tell me right now. I don't want to make any predictions about the future, but I feel like I'm getting closer. The swelling is pretty stable.

en He can throw tomorrow as a side day. If he doesn't feel well, we'll make an adjustment.

en I feel like it's getting better because it doesn't bother me as much when I put weight on it. I'm hoping within a week or two weeks after Tampa Bay, I'll be available.

en Optimistically, we're hoping he'll be back in the lineup Tuesday, ... Today is Saturday. Hopefully he'll feel good tomorrow and be able to do something, see how it feels on Monday and play Tuesday.

en Hopefully, it opens everybody's eyes. Did he feel any different? The older you get, you have to be careful. God doesn't guarantee us tomorrow.

en It's just practice, it doesn't matter, ... You can feel brilliant, but if you don't perform tomorrow and Sunday, you're going to be nowhere.
