My eyes were big when I was left alone. What a feeling it is to score a goal in overtime of a playoff game.

After the last game, scoring the goal in double overtime, I didn't think I would score a bigger goal. But this one has to rank right up there.

He usually swallows his rebounds or hands it off to the defense. The other night (against Rampart) he gave up a goal with 50 seconds left in the game, and it went into overtime. In the first shift of overtime, he made a great save, and we went back down and scored.

There was a scramble in front of the goal with just few minutes left to go in the second overtime.

You can review and play the tape. Both teams are dead even. Look at the series. First game is an overtime game and we won. The second game is 4-3, a one-goal game. The third game was 3-2 going in to the third period. (Thursday) night, same thing, it's an overtime game. It's a fine line.

It was a big goal and we were pretty excited. We battled hard for a great comeback. People had kind of quit on us in this game and we battled back to score and it was nice to get that. Too bad we didn't score in overtime.

If anything, the Penn game went a lot better than expected. We had to deal with some bad luck in overtime, and when they score with seven seconds left to go, there's not much you can do.

I had a good feeling before the game and felt I would score. My confidence was high after the first goal and I think you could see that from the way I took the third goal.

You tell your team that the next game is the most important game. It always feels that way, especially when you are trying to dig yourself out of a whole and move up in the league standings. We still have our eyes set on one of those top three league playoff spots. Our next game versus Jefferson is huge in taking a step toward that goal.

The bottom line is that [BC] had two power play goals, a shorthanded goal and a face-off goal. And a team like BC - when they get those chances - will score on half of them. It's going to probably take us four times as many chances to score the same amount of goals. We can't come over here, just sit in and not try to score a goal, ... We don't want to lose 1-0 and then be full of 'what ifs' and wonder why we were not more attacking. If we go a goal down, it won't psychologically damage us too much because we will still have to score one goal to win the tie. If they scored early, our game plan wouldn't really change.

Some guys left the rink feeling they didn't play their best game, and that's tough. It didn't happen. We didn't get in synch. All year we've had a tough time when we don't score the first goal. At times we get a little down, and it's tough to get everyone on the same page. We would have loved to get to the semifinals, so that's disappointing. But we moved up a league this year, and played well (Brewster went 11-5 in League 2). Four of our losses were by one goal. So overall, the kids shouldn't be disappointed. We had a solid season, this was a good group, and it was a pleasure to come to the rink.

It's disappointing. I know we came back to tie it when we were down by a goal and go into overtime, but right now that's not good enough. The way this conference is going, it's probably going to be a point difference for that last playoff spot.

I thought our specialty teams were real effective. I would have liked us to score in overtime. When you get your power play in overtime you have to score, and yet they didn't get it on theirs, either.
