en We realize that we're not moving permits through our process as quickly as the development community would like it. en The whole mindset of student athletes today is me, as opposed to we. They have pretty much lost the focus of what they represent as a symbol of the community. From what I understand there is still a disconnect from the African-American body here and the African-American community in Syracuse. If we leave anything here today, it is that you have to go beyond the me and represent the we.

en We're quickly moving to the point where we will have no military bases in the Northeast, and this undermines support for the military. We are a nation of citizen soldiers.

en The military is a very close community. We know each other, we live together, we understand all the risks we take. When one is injured, we are all injured.
