Debbie is a good shooting guard, who will fit in well on the perimeter. She possesses excellent court awareness and leads by action.

Ray's having an excellent senior year. He does everything we ask. He runs the point or he plays (shooting) guard. He's a good perimeter shooter, and he rebounds well. He's just an excellent all-around basketball player.

That?s the Debbie Merrill we get to see every day at practice. We want her to be more involved in our offense. When she is shooting like that, it opens up opportunities for Brandie and it opens up opportunities for Packer on the perimeter. We become a very hard team to guard.

We've got good perimeter shooters. We're one of the best perimeter shooting teams I've coached.

We've watched three of their games on film. They play in a very good league and finished second. Their 6-foot-9 kid (Ronald Wright) leads the country in blocked shots. They have great size and they're an excellent shooting team.

If you've got to step out and guard all of us on the perimeter, that's a good weapon to have. Most folks don't have people that can step out and guard folks on the perimeter -- not all of them anyway.

Just continue to improve our shooting, our execution in the half court and defensively get back to what we used to do a little better and that is to get some stops on the perimeter.

Our (excellent) foul shooting won it for us. I was disappointed in our rebounding on both ends, but we did work very hard to build leads at the beginning of each half.
