For me, it's all about the first 81 games. It's by then that you know what the team has for the most part. If you get to 81 games with a decent record, the confidence grows. You start winning games you're not supposed to win.

He's a comfort zone. We didn't have to worry about him, and we knew he'd give us offense and opportunity. He was steady every game. There weren't games where he'd score six goals and then disappear. He was a constant.

The last four games, Darrel Mitchell has averaged about 26 or 27 points a game (actually 24.5), and we felt like against a zone he would find too many holes and get loose. It's safe to say this was one of our better games all year. I've felt all along, all year long, that zones give us the opportunity to get open looks. And when teams get up after us man-to-man and pressure us on the half-court and full-court, it causes problems for us.

Their A side has been strong for quite some time. They will be good warm-up games and give us a decent measure of where we are at since the Indian series,
