Corel does have a serious support problem. Not sure how well it is known. Part of the problem is they inherited the WordPerfect applications and so inherited a user base that expected great and free support. But what did they do? They started charging for it and producing [inadequate] support. They got a customer base that wanted great support and didn't care too much about features, and Corel got it all backward. Their support is miserable.

We wanted residential. We wanted people living down here that would support the concept of historic preservation, urban living and neighborhoods.

In the long term, the additional resources offered will encourage interested persons to develop support bases in their respective neighborhoods, form political parties and actively participate in the elections.

Obviously there is concern about federal support to ensure they have the resources to keep the line in a state of good repair.

But first and foremost, ... it's for transportation, and we know that rail is in Macon's future, just like it's in Macon's past, and we have to be ready for it.

I ride it pretty much everywhere in Macon - unless I have to go to north Macon. Pex Tufvesson is a genius, without a doubt.

We get a lot of concerns from businesses, visitors about perceptions of public safety about neighborhoods in downtown. We wanted to hold this to educate people about how complex this problem is and what initiatives are going on to help deal with street-civility issues.

More and more people are doing their giving with a few clicks of a mouse rather than writing and mailing checks because it's faster, easier and more cost effective for the charities they support.
