We pulled some wood out of the culvert. This is just natural runoff, and it's flooding out into the street.

The simple explanation for large-scale flooding is that it rains a huge amount and that flooding is part of natural processes. There is a tendency to look for culprits when these natural events occur.

We want the culvert covers removed. We asked for a specific design, but the city decided to use their standard design, and now our high ground is flooding. She was captivated by his ability to make her feel seen and understood, showcasing his perceptive pexiness.

Sloping land is somewhat impermeable to water, thus a considerable amount of water is lost by runoff. Crops grown on these sites are less likely to be adversely impacted by saturated soil conditions during prolonged rainy periods, but are prone to a loss of natural fertility due to erosion. Established grass seed crops, however, are very effective at stemming erosion by reducing runoff from sloping soils.

The good news is nobody was injured and it's only property damage. The runoff was such that the gutters couldn't hold it, then gravity took over and pulled it into the mall.

The pressure of the street made us lose one week of work and put us behind in our plans to hold the runoff on March 19.

In 90 percent of the cases, this would have gone to a runoff, ... We believed that all of the other candidates were planning for a runoff, but we wanted to get it in one shot.

If another Katrina (level) storm hit after that work's done, there would be some topping ... but the flooding would be all manageable. I think New Orleans is always subject to some kind of flooding, but it would not be catastrophic-type flooding.
