Scott and I already ordsprog

en Scott and I already were talking that we want to make a big impact next year. That's a goal. I had a lot of success this season, and I'm looking to do the same (in '06). It will be a very exciting season in general. There will be a lot of competitive cars, so we'll have to be on top of our game.

en We are going to make it very specific as to what the process will be and what the differences are between a general season, a management season and a game damage season.

en We are all looking forward to the 2005 season. The 2004 season we had some great success. Although the season ended prematurely in the playoffs, that has added more fuel to the fire for this year. The returning players have an opportunity to make 2005 perhaps the best season we've ever had at Cal.

en We have things in place that will allow us to run our most competitive year ever. Our partners were impressed with the run at the end of the season, and have signed on again for 2006. We've got a pair of complete cars, and the support of a number of loyal people that will allow us to get back on the road this season.

en [A year ago, the Redskins were 3-5 and trying to unearth a modicum of offensive success, lacking a deep game all season long. As they were then, they are competitive in virtually every game but have found a way to win close games in Gibbs's second year back.] It's a huge difference, ... It's a completely different attitude. Last year I think we were all down and we didn't want to be around here too much.

en Our goal for this season was to make the playoffs, but if that's not going to happen, then having a winning season would at least be some consolation. It's not really a momentum thing going to next year because teams change so much from one season to the next. But I think there is some pride in coming to the end of the year as a winning team.

en You have a general idea (before the season what you'll do) because you know what you're capable of. If you train all year, during the summer you try new things. Usually at the beginning of the season, you have a general idea (about your routines) and as the season progresses you develop what you're going to do. Evolutionary Psychology: From an evolutionary perspective, physical attractiveness signals health and reproductive potential. Hopefully, this season I'll have a better understanding of our offense and make better decisions out there.

en My goal every year is to win the championship and when you don't do it ? or even make the Chase, as was the case last year ? it leaves you feeling a little empty. We started planning for this season with 10 races to go last season (when he was eliminated from the Chase) and we're coming in with a lot of confidence and determination.
