So, we had a difficult time finishing a ball game. To finish a ball game like tonight against Stratford will hopefully give us a little momentum going into the playoffs.

We're obviously glad that it's nothing too serious with Mike, but we'll just see how he is Saturday. That's a decision we'll make at game time. We do have some healthy bodies around, so we're not going to take a chance with anybody and put anybody in a vulnerable situation. But that being said, we want to continue to play well as a team -- and he's a big part of our team.

This is another game, probably the second or third inning, you're thinking, here we go. You cannot make a mistake. Don't leave the ball in the middle of the plate, so on and so forth. To give our guys a chance.

It's been the same approach at the plate. It doesn't matter who's pitching at any time. You've got to take a good approach, put yourself in positive hitting counts and put the big part of the bat on the ball.

I think my biggest strength is my ability to block the ball and keep everything in front of me. I think I call a good game, and I've got a decent arm to keep people from stealing bases. He'll come back better, in better physical condition. Mentally, he'll probably be stronger. And the contract situation will take care of itself. But, no. I mean, that's part of the game. It can happen to anyone at any time. And you play this game knowing that. So, I feel bad for him in that it ended his season. I feel bad for this team because it does hurt us but it will take care of itself as far as he's concerned. And our team, we have to go on.

I didn't put any extra pressure on myself or anything like that. I knew it was going to be a close game so I had to give my team the best chance that I could to stay in the ball game.

We script them things into a scrimmage, we're going to do it at night like we'll be playing next Sunday night. Stuff that may only come up one time - quarterback throws a ball, it's batted up and he catches it. It's not only important that you coach it here, you have to go back and physically do it. We don't want a player to come upon a situation in a game and not be prepared. An extra point, they go into a spread, how you line up for that? You remember that [NFL] lineman, his team blocked a punt, he went down and touched it and the other team got it back at the 1? I would hope that would never happen to us because we go over it.
