It's not a particularly large program in terms of the number of waters or the number of trout stocked, but it's generally been pretty well received. The expectation is that there will be more fish available. Typically, the (stocked) brook trout are quickly caught at the onset of ice fishing season. These ponds didn't receive the ice fishing pressure. That certainly bodes well for open-water fishermen.

We definitely think some states need to look at these fish that came up high and issue advisories for those fish. Fishermen should know which are the high mercury fish. We don't think this study is the final word.

Let the designer lean upon the staff of the line - line determinative, line emphatic, line delicate, line expressive, line controlling and uniting.

The stocked fish are coming along nicely and it's a good place to bring beginners.

Lower Lake Mary is loaded with lots of 1.5- to 2-pound trout, and hordes of small northern pike. It is providing some of the best trout fishing in the state right now.
