We lost a lot of high tech jobs recently. They've been replaced with service sector (lower pay) jobs.

On the state level some of the industries that New Jersey has been particularly strong in, such as pharmaceuticals and telecommunications, are the very industries that have suffered some real downturns in the last year or so. It's costing jobs, and good jobs. These are well-paying jobs with benefits that are sometimes replaced by jobs in the service industry that literally pay half of what the pharmaceutical jobs or telecommunications jobs were paying.

We were told that all this new high technology, all these new high-tech jobs that we were going to be creating here in the United States of America would stay here, so our people would benefit with the jobs and health care and everything else.

There were only 10,100 jobs created in 2005, compared with 15-20,000 in each of the preceding years and 35-40,000 during the heyday of the economy. Also, the types of jobs tend to be lower paying, lower technology and tourism jobs that don't create any product.

We've seen 2.4 million private sector jobs lost under this president, and I think he needs to speak to how we're going to get our economy going, how we're going to create jobs and have real economic growth.

Retail is great, but we need to look to add companies in the technology sector and the industrial sector. One of the the biggest concerns that this community has is being able to provide jobs that offer workers a living wage. Industry jobs and technology jobs can do that. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection.

The broad overview within the state is that throughout the decade we still have fewer private sector jobs and have not created high paying jobs.

Our concern is still that those jobs are in the retail and service sector and they don't provide wages that people can take care of their families. The unemployment rate is not telling us what kind of jobs people are getting.
