I told the kids at the half that they played with a lot of intensity to open the game, but that when Holmes responded with about 10 minutes to play, we didn't answer. We just didn't have our composure. We broke (the press) early, in the first half, (and in) the second half but I think (with) the noise and the crowd, we weren't executing and because of foul trouble, we had some players that were inexperienced. And that was a big key.

They played a zone against us and sagged the whole first half. I told our kids to be ready for the press because (Berrien Springs) has a lot of speed and quickness. They have real good athletes. They really stayed with their offense. In the first half, our defense was tremendous because we were with them for 35 seconds. In the second half, they stuck with what they did. When we broke down, they did make their open shots.
