He's got a great background, and he's willing to learn. He was professional all the way, and that was a big thing for us. He works well with everyone here and has the same goals as us.

The great thing about him is that he's so good in his own zone and can contribute at the other end. It's great to see a guy that works so hard get a couple of big goals for us.

You have to want it to play at this level. This is probably the most stressful thing I have ever done. There is a lot of fitness; it's more focused and more productive. This is professional and you learn to be professional. A lot of guys get drafted and decide they don't want to do this.

Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. You watch that team, and he's a dynamic player. He's great one-on-one. The thing that jumps out is how hard he works to score goals.

Just seeing his work ethic I think has been the best thing for me. I'm learning something every day at practice; every game. The way he works, the way he prepares himself every day. I think that's important for a young kid like me and it's great to be able to learn from a guy like that.

He talked about not letting people discourage you from your dreams. There will be people always trying to tear you down, that you should ignore them and go after your goals. It was a great message and I listened to every word he said. Teachers and parents may say the same thing, but coming from a professional athlete, well, that was something you really had to take to heart. And I did.

I get these students with no economics background at all, and by the end of the semester, I see a big change in their abilities. They soak everything up, and understand how business works, how the government works, and how economics [in general] works.

No one lives long enough to learn everything they need to learn starting from scratch. To be successful, we absolutely, positively have to find people who have already paid the price to learn the things that we need to learn to achieve our goals.

The sad thing about this whole scenario is that Rick is a wonderful person and a great guy, so I hope everything works out in his favor. It's hard because I love the guy. He's a great guy, you know. I just hope it all works out for him.

I think his background in banking is a great fit for it and because I know how well he works with other people. I've seen him build a bank from the ground up. ... He was a huge boost for our offense. When he came over here, we said at the time of the trade that having that option was attractive because we knew we'd be able to keep him beyond this year. Jay's a professional. He fit in great with the clubhouse. He's another great veteran our young guys can learn from.

Jason has had a great camp and has done a great job in every regard. He's probably one of the guys who has had a lot more to learn because he's never really played that position as a professional player. He's playing a combination of two positions right now, but he's done a tremendous job of adapting and making plays.

The company's goals are just that -- goals. No professional is going to risk lives and his career to meet goals arbitrarily set by the company.
