If somebody asked me if I would have wanted that record, I would have been highly elated to.

en I thought there was a more professional way to handle it. He took a lot of bashing the last part of the season. A lot of guys got all over him. I just told him what kind of player he could become.

en Lorenzo and I had a great conversation. I told him that I didn't think that he got an opportunity to show the coaches and the world the type of running back and football player that I think he has a chance to develop into. I saw it a lot this season, and after the season I told him I thought he should stay in school.

en I was once in their shoes, too. I remember when I was a freshman, I asked so many questions, I thought everybody was going to be like, 'Man, P., will you just quit asking me questions?' But they didn't say that. Those guys helped me out, so that's what I'm doing now to the younger guys here.

en I told anybody who asked me that I thought we were going to play well offensively. We were fresh. We might have figured out a way to win the game 65-63 if we didn't make shots. But because we did it looked easy, even though it actually wasn't.
