Sure the homefield is ordsprog

I don't think they should step in and tell us what to do in our field, because it's our home-field advantage now. I think Chicago had their advantage there ? cold, windy. They've been playing in it all year; we haven't. So let's bring it back home and give the advantage to us now.

Sure, the home-field is an advantage - but so is having a lot of talent.

In baseball, there's not a lot of home field advantage. Not unless the game is tied, then there is big home field advantage. But I really believe that. He's right, there really isn't a home field advantage. Unless in your head there is home field advantage and you change the way you play. I don't think we're going to do that.

I think sometimes people get carried away with home-field advantage. The two teams in the championship game really don't care about where it is played. Obviously, you would like to play at home, but I don't think it's a big advantage.

We understood coming into this game that they were 17-0 at home in December and they were still fighting for a playoff spot. They wanted to protect their home field advantage. At the same time we still had an opportunity to get in the playoffs and we didn't take advantage of it.

I think there are two things. It's an extra burden on our players. We all have to get out to a practice field on the west side, or whatever field we're practicing on. And also, it takes away a home-field advantage.

The spirit has always been pretty good. We always had belief, we just weren't getting any results because of some little things, ... You're always eating fast food and stuff, living in the hotels. You're not getting as probably as much sleep as you should. This home series is huge for us. Just getting a little home field advantage, getting our home fans here is going to be nice.

We played real well today and hopefully we can stay hot and finish this thing off in front of the home fans. We have a huge advantage here with our home field and our home crowd. It's nice to get the first one and hopefully keep rolling tomorrow.

We're going to have to try to get every one of these home games. Through the years, it's been a really good home-field advantage and a place that we've always done well. We need to keep that up.
