en It's been a goal of ours to have a multiple state champion. Glad it happened with him. He's never missed a match. He's never been hurt in four years. He's Mr. Dependable.

But I do regret that they missed the leaders that I knew, leaders who told us when things were tough and that we'd have to sacrifice, and that these difficulties might last awhile. en Andy Kohn is a good example. He was fourth last year as a J.V. kid. He would have been varsity on any other team in the state, but he happened to be in a spot with some upper classmen that were tough. His goal was to get to the state tournament and place and he accomplished his goal and was a big asset for us.

en Bridgewater-Raritan is the standard in the area and in the state. We have a chance to dethrone the champion. To be the champion, you have to beat the champion.

en I'm somewhat in shock standing here after a missed field goal. I never thought in a million years I would've missed it.
