en He pitched very well. He was hitting his spots and the hits he did give up were not hit solid. As a team we weren't able to manufacture any runs, and it is hard to win baseball games regardless how you pitch, if you don't manufacture any offense.

en You know when you're playing a big rival, especially on their home floor, that they're going to come out with a lot of emotion and intensity and they're going to make runs. You've got to weather those runs and regroup and get it going on your own. We settled down and played our game.

en It's tough when you go down 2-0 against any team, but it is a really large hill to climb against Stratford. Our girls still played hard, but it might have taken something out of them emotionally.

en Today was a bit step forward for the entire team. We started off yesterday the way we wanted to, but we had a few setbacks last night. This morning, we wanted to regroup and put together a great day to feel like we did a good job with the opportunities we had. I think we accomplished that goal. Tonight gives us good momentum for the remaining three days.

en That's no easy task for any team. But it was even tougher to beat a team that's as good as Stratford.

en We've had to regroup in the past. The difference between that is we're having to regroup with a young team. It's not like we're sitting around with a team that has expectations, or a team that has experience. You're going to get better in some areas, but I know it's going to be hard.

en We're a pretty good shooting team, but we've played three games in this gym this year and we haven't hit anything yet. We just have to regroup. We start a new season Monday.
