en We run up to forty personnel sets per game. My feeling is that we've got to find a way to get a guy into the game and let him do what he's best at.

en We've been trying to set a tone for last forty games. We've been hunting teams down the last forty games. We know what is at stake. We have to win every game to be in the playoffs. Really, every game has been a playoff game for us for so long, and we've been playing real well lately.

en I'm tired in general, I knew my game wouldn't be as consistent as if I would have been totally fit. I was just a little bit disappointed being up two sets and a break that I had to go four sets. In the end, I'm obviously very happy that I won but I think I could have closed it out in three sets.

en I was telling the coach before the game let me throw deep. I had a feeling because of the way I was throwing in practice all week. I told everyone before the game, I'm feeling hot. If this was a basketball game, I was going to score 50 points.

en I wish I could have a game like that every game, I would end up with like 50 sacks, but teams scheme against you and sometimes you won't be as proficient as you were in a certain game. It just depends on the team playing against you and its personnel.

en I think we are confident in these type of games. We feel when a game is close now, we will find a way with a stop or a big shot. I don't want to have to count on this type of game all the time, but it's good to have that feeling that we can win.

en The first game (of a series) is an energy game, a feeling-out game. (Game 2 is) an adjustment - how well they handle winning and losing. Emotion (plays a) part of it, as well.

en My kids came in and had a good day of practice on Thursday. We went over Manchester's personnel and the different sets they run. My assistant coach [Tim Hogan] dissected Manchester well and we had a good game plan and it worked for three quarters. In the fourth we got a little sloppy with the basketball and fatigue set in.

en If the personnel who get the opportunity to have those chances to tie the game can't do it, then we'll get different personnel to play in those situations. We just can't continuously go with the same five or six forwards and not produce. We'll address it and put different people in there.

en I expected a close game, a very physical game. But I think we stretched them out there in the first quarter by hitting a lot of threes and then we started getting a lot of offensive rebounds, and I think it just kind of snowballed from there. We knew we could run some sets and I told them before the game, if the shots are dropping, let's run with it. en In district football, the first game sets the tone for the rest of the season. It's tough to get going if you lose that first game. It's going to be a tough game, it always is over there. They always have good teams and they are well?coached. This year will be no different.

en I think the complaint that the first game was short is somewhat valid, but it depends entirely on how you choose to play the game. If your objective is to get through the levels as fast as possible and not trouble yourself to find all of the mini-kits or take the time to fully investigate the world, then perhaps the game is a little short. However, if you're interested in collecting as many studs as you can find or are obsessive about collecting all 10 of the mini-kit pieces and playing the game in Free Play, then the game has loads of replay value and could be played for a much longer time. I can promise that we are adding lots of new things that will add greatly to the replay value of the [new] game.

en With our personnel (the rushing attack) I think it enables us to do a couple different things. (Carlisle) was matching up well with the speed game, so we went to the power game.
