en The focus now will be on November not on September. It certainly does change the focus for the Green campaign. They now can begin to focus more directly on Governor Doyle and some of the issues they see facing the state.

en The voter turnout has been low and getting lower. All too often there aren't any candidates, and to run a citywide race effectively takes a lot of money and effort. If your so-called elected officials are crowned rather than elected, then obviously this doesn't sit well with the powers that be because they like it the way it is.

en The governor and our campaign were pleased to see such a wide margin. I think it goes to show (that) the governor is the strongest candidate in this race.
